Stories Are Always Brewin'

Apostle Islands is Available Now!

Get out your boat shoes and find those seasick pills because Apostle Islands, the sequel to Tommy's award-winning debut novel Nazareth, North Dakota, is now available from Atticus Books! It looks like it's going to be another bumpy ride for Sam, Daylene, Roxy and the gang. The story of Sam Davidson continues along the wild shores of Lake Superior, where he finds his fishers of men, and even more trouble than a Messiah can handle.

Like the miracles he depicts in Apostle Islands, Tommy Zurhellen’s new novel is a gift of wonder and audacity. It is also deviously funny. Read it with his first novel, Nazareth, North Dakota, and consider yourself saved.”
Bruce Murkoff, author of Red Rain and Waterborne

Poignant, funny, and beautifully written, Apostle Islands is a big-hearted story and that rarest of
books—a profound page turner. I loved it
